Brian Greene, JD
Brian Greene brings a distinguished career in law and real estate development to Discount 1031 Exchange. A graduate with honors from Brigham Young University, Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science before obtaining his Juris Doctor degree from the prestigious J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU.
After being admitted to the bar, Brian began his legal career as a staff attorney for Sundquist Homes, Inc., a prominent real estate development company in Washington State. There, he managed the company’s legal affairs, including ensuring regulatory compliance for significant development projects. His leadership extended further when he took on the role of General Counsel and Development Manager for a Provo, Utah-based real estate development and holding company. In these roles, he gained invaluable experience overseeing complex transactions and strategic development initiatives.
In 2000, Brian launched his own law practice, where he specialized in real estate and business transactions, advising clients on a wide range of issues from property acquisition to financial structuring. His expertise in navigating intricate legal and regulatory landscapes has become a cornerstone of the guidance provided by Discount 1031 Exchange.
Beyond his responsibilities at Discount 1031 Exchange, Brian is affiliated with RealtyNet Advisors, Inc., a trusted real estate investment advisory firm. His commitment to public service is evident from his six years as a member of the Utah State House of Representatives, where he played an active role in shaping policies impacting business and real estate development.
With a strong foundation in both legal expertise and practical real estate experience, Brian leads Discount 1031 Exchange with a focus on empowering clients to achieve their investment goals while maximizing tax efficiencies.
